A Little Boys Imagination

We had some really great weather last week! We got out Lane's little pool and he spent Monday and Tuesday afternoon playing in it. One day him and Reese got out all of Lane's "camping" toys and set up a whole camping scene. I thought it was so cute, they had guys fishing and the float plane in the "lake." He got the tent set up complete with a fire, lantern, and ice chest. I love his imagination! Today when I picked him up from school his teacher told me that he had saved the whole class from a black bear today! As we were talking to him about that, he told his teacher very matter of fact that he had seen a Sasquatch in the woods in Washington and it was sleeping. I think he believes that he really did see it :) Good stuff!

One more thing... check out my talented friend Elaina's etsy shop. She has made a great beach tote (or could be used for many other uses, library runs, pool, gym etc). She has a couple listed and is planning on listing more using different fabrics. Adorable!!

Ok, I love it. One of my favorite things about raising kids is entering their imaginative world and being a part of all the pretending! Merit STILL talks about the Sasquatch (sp) that he, Reese, Lane and Kai possibly saw in the wooded area just outside of Oma's lodge!

Where'd you get those little camping items? It's like barbies for boys. Jack loves playing with all the barbie accessories at my mom's. He'd love the boy version. Very cute pictures! I can't wait for some warmer weather around here. It's been lovely, but not hot, which is what I'm really craving.

Hey, forgot to tell you that the street/antique fair that Roger and I went to in a town east of SD... La Mesa possibly, was awesome. Really neat vintage stuff. Bet you would like it.
